To keep you going through the January grind, GLOSSYBOX have teamed up with the amazing Trainer, Online Coach and all-time fitness inspiration Hollie Philippa.

Wellbeing is all about feeling happy in your skin, energized and ready to take on the world! But sometimes it’s hard to squeeze in exercise to our hectic schedules.

So Hollie has formulated a special workout that you can do in the comfort of your own home with minimal equipment in just 20 minutes.

Give these exercises a go and see how you feel! Use a yoga mat for extra comfort and if you don't have one, the carpet will do.

P.S. Glossies, only attempt these exercises is you are fit, healthy and medically able.

The Warm Up:

Skip for 3 minutes followed by a stretch off. Never forget to stretch off and get your muscles warm with a light warm up!

The Workout:

There are 5 movements in total. Do 10 reps of each. Once you have done one cycle, have a 30 second rest and start the circuit again. Repeat the circuit 8 times.

Relax and don't rush and relax. This is you time!


1. Squats & Jump Squats

Get into a normal standing position, with your body facing forward and your feet directly underneath your shoulders.

Do 10 squats.

2. Jump Squats

Then straight afterwards do 10 jump squats: lower yourself into a regular squat, then explode as forcefully as you can into a jump with your arms pointing to the sky!

3. Reverse Lunges

10 reverse lunges. Start with your feet shoulder width apart and step one leg to the rear. When you knee is nearly touching the floor, pause slightly and return to the standing position. Alternate legs - so you'll do 5 on each.

4. Press-ups

10 press-ups. You can start doing press-ups resting your weight on your knees.

5. Plank with an oblique twists

Get your hips twisting with this movement!

Firstly get into your plank position with your elbows directly underneath your shoulders.

Then pull one knee towards the opposite elbow and twist your hips as you go! Alternate legs and do this 10 times.

The cool down:

Don't forget to stretch off after you have finished. Try some yoga poses and stretch out where you feel you need to.
