It's our favourite day of the year Glossies! It's our birthday! We are turning 11… And birthdays are the perfect time to dress up!

You may have noticed this month at GLOSSYBOX HQ, we are discovering how real artists feel- through beauty! So what better day than our birthday to share with you our favourite makeup palettes that unleash the 'inner artist' in you!

And, as it’s our birthday, of course our beauty picks are full to the brim with glitter, colourand a little sparkle too! What are you waiting for? Treat yourself and celebrate with us!

Glossy Approved Makeup Palettes Just For You

PIXI X RachhLoves The Layers Highlighting Palette

One of our favourite brands to feature in this months GLOSSYBOX is PIXI and glossies we are obsessed! (check out the PIXI by Petra Blush Duo in our August 'The Art of Beauty' Box).

Another collaboration we love by PIXI is their gorgeous highlighter palette with makeup influencer RachhLoves. With five shades to brighten and elevate your look.

The 'creative artist' in you can use the five shades (my fave is shade Clutch - a chic champagne shade) separately or together to unleash your artistic powers. Perfect for all skin tones, each shade will leave your complexion with a radiant shine.

NYX Professional Makeup 3C Palette - Color Correcting Concealer

A colour correcting palette is a staple for every makeup bag! NYX has created a six concealer shade - correct and perfecting palette that suits all skin tones!Creamy, easy to build and blend - and all created to target a particular problem area.

Glossies if you struggle to know which shade to use for what reason - we got you covered. See our 'artistic' shade guide below...

Yellow - use to conceal under eye dark circles or any dark spots

Green - apply over any redness

Lavender - use this to counteract any sallowness

Peach - use to neutralise dark circles and brighten dull areas

The bottom two shades are there for your contour! To help you accentuate your natural features and perfect that sculpted look.

Benefit Hoola Exclusive Contourist Matte Powder Bronzer Palette

One of the most iconic bronzers is of course... Hoola by benefit, and this palette features all four Hoola shades! Original Hoola, along with Hoola light, medium and deep. Perfect for anyone to achieve a sun-kissed look.

You can mix and match the shades - like an artist with a wooden palette mixing colours - to bronze and contour your complexion. The powders blend seamlessly, leaving you with a matte finish. An added bonus is the built in mirror (is it me or mirrors in palettes are a necessity).

Makeup Revolution DC X Revolution Mad Love Cream Blusher Quad

If you don't own a blush palette, then glossies you need to add this one to your collection! Having a choice of shades is perfect for the inner artist in you to play with colours and change up your looks.

This quad palette offers the four staple blush shades every glossy needs. A bold red, a warm orange, a seductive blush and a warm brown.

Creamy and smooth - these shades can be applied with a brush or a beauty sponge onto your cheeks, leaving them with a vibrant pop of colour!

Morphe 18T Truth Or Bare Artistry Palette

Morphe is of course one of the leaders in artistry eyeshadow palettes. Known for their vast choice of shades, high pigment and innovative designs.

A nude palette is a must for all makeup collections - and a personal favourite of mine. Glossies, I love this 18 shade neutral palette. This can easily take you from day to night and there’s a silky shade for every occasion. Even better they blend out effortlessly.

From shimmers, to mattes, to lighter shades to dark. If you want a smoky eye, a glamourous look or a go-to for work. This palette is an artists dream! My favourite shade is Let It Out - a shimmering chocolate bronze.

Illamasqua Artistry Palette - Experimental

Just like the artist Henri Matisse, this palette is known for its bright and bold colours! And glossies, this may be the brightest palette we have ever seen!

This 12 shade palette has every colour of the rainbow and more! A little goes along way here glossies, so this palette will last you a lifetime! From bright oranges, to rich purples and royal blues - these shades can be used for a monochromatic look or be blended together to create a look as colourful as Matisse's Sorrows of The Kings.

Top Tip - Apply an eye primer before use to help the pigment pop on your eyelids!

Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette Making Waves

The final palette every MUA should have in their palette is an eyeshadow palette full to the brim of sparkling shimmers, and this is by far our favourite! Sea green blues, golden yellows and cosmic purples are just a few shades to expect here.

Stand out from the crowd with creating stunning multi-dimensional looks! What I was shocked most about with this palette is how long the shimmer and sparkle lasted on my lid throughout the night!

Each shade is soft - which is always a surprise with shimmers. This is thanks to the skincare ingredients of Coconut Oil and Cannabis Satvia Seed Oil.

Top Tip - Spray your brush with your setting spray before applying your shadow so the shimmer can pop!

You know how people say putting on your favourite clothes can instantly boost or change your mood? Well that's how I feel when I put on my favourite makeup. Makeup isn't to cover up, it's to show off our personality - and I love how everyone does their makeup in their own unique way! I never leave the house without a tinted lip balm in hand, and just like everyone right now, I love a good dupe!
