Must-Haves This Beauty Writer Has Emptied This Month!

Glossies, we all have our favourite go-to products, our ride or die beauty buys we think everyone should try. And as we love these products so much, we get through them so quickly!

I’ve gathered up the products I’ve emptied and loved over the past few weeks, and to keep you in the know, I’m sharing my honest thoughts and critiques on these makeup, skin and haircare finds.

Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara – Very Black

So, I brought this mascara for the same reason I buy most of my makeup… It went viral on social media! I’ve been hooked on Maybelline mascaras ever since the phenomenon that was Sky High and the new Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara – Very Black hasn’t disappointed!

After using this for the last three months I can confirm this mascara combines extreme volume with bouncy curl, offering long-lasting definition to every single lash.

The formula utilises Memory-Curl technology which gives you up to 24-hour wear. Even after a long day of travelling, there was no clumping, no smudging and no flaking.

My favourite part is its unique Curl ‘N’ Bounce brush which has a curved design to separate, lift and curl your lashes to perfection. I haven’t used an eyelash curler since using this mascara. I’ve already repurchased this (using my Glossy Credit too!) and can’t wait for it to arrive.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

You don’t need to spend a lot of money on your foundation to achieve a flawless base! I don’t, so you don’t either. And this month, I have gotten through yet another Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation.

One of the most affordable foundations to achieve a flawless complexion, it’s lightweight, creamy and buildable and perfect for taking your look from day to night. Trust me when I say it’ll last! I love how I can wear a thin layer in the day too, with a touch of concealer and liquid blush (any product sits well on top of this foundation!) )or build it up for fuller coverage for a night out!

For £8.99, this foundation is a beauty bargain – it’s moisturising and gives you a smooth, radiant base. It also minimises the appearance of pores, dark circles and blemishes. This is my favourite liquid foundation and has been for years.

It’s perfect for the upcoming months too Glossies, as it features SPF 20 to help you look after your skin. We literally couldn’t ask for much more!

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Wonder Water 8 Second Hair Treatment

Looking after my lengths has been a hair focus of mine this year – and the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Wonder Water 8 Second Hair Treatment has been my perfect partner in this journey. This amazing conditioner transforms your hair in just eight seconds… Yes, you heard me right!

I’ve been using it on my hair after shampooing– massaging into my lengths for the magical eight seconds, then rinsing it out. I’ll be purchasing my second bottle this month without a doubt.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm

ELEMIS is by far one of my favourite skincare brands. Rich, lavish and effective, this brand is the epitome of luxe. For me, skincare is how I practise self-care – I like to treat myself and use products that make me feel good.

A little goes a long way with the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm. It’s taken me all year to empty this! But, it’s my favourite ELEMIS product, EVER! This English rose cleanser starts as a balm but transforms into a magical oil when used with water. Melting makeup away effortlessly, it leaves skin the softest you’ll have ever felt it. Plus it gives your complexion instant hydration!

My favourite part of this balm is the fragrance. You’ll love the scent of its rose and mimosa waxes.

BeautyPro Rose Calming Sheet Mask

Glossies, it’s no secret…I LOVE a sheet mask! They are my favourite way to relax, unwind and look after my skin. And the last one I used was the BeautyPro Rose Calming Sheet Mask.

This vegan mask rescued my stressed skin, all thanks to the infusion of herbs and vitamins. After 15-20 minutes, I peeled the mask off and said hello to a brighter and more radiant complexion – much to my delight!

Not did the anti-inflammatory-rich formula soothe my skin but my face was drenched with hydration as well. My pores felt tightened, my skin tone looked more even and a natural luminosity radiated from me.

After a fortnight of applying these masks twice a week, my usual blemishes didn’t play havoc as much either. The mask definitely helped reduce my risk of breakouts and blemishes to a manageable amount too.

oo Faced Born This Way Loose Setting Powder Translucent

If you’re an oily skin type like me, setting powders are your best friends! And Glossies, I found a new one in the form of Too Faced Born This Way Loose Translucent Setting Powder.

I have been using the powder every day for the past few months and it’s lasted me such a long time! But, as well as it being great value for money, it also set and locked in place my makeup – perfect for adding another layer of coverage! On application, this powder felt silky, soft and left my base looking and feeling smooth too!

It’s not like other powders I’ve used. It was never drying under the eyes or cakey. This powder is lightweight and adds a touch of radiance, and what I love most is that it’s infused with my skincare fave – hyaluronic acid. I’ll for sure be repurchasing for the summer!
