You know the expression ‘it does what it says on the tin’? It couldn’t be more fitting to ghd, who have given us Great Hair Days for the past 20 years! Like a footballer has their favourite set of boots, we all have our favourite ghds. For me – it’s the ‘GOAT’ – the ghd Platinum+ Black Straighteners. Maintaining a safe-for-hair temperature at all times, they’re ideal for straightening and curling. If you’re like me or our Beauty Editor Emily, you are a woman on the go. Which is why these straightener’s sleep mode is so great. They switch off if inactive for 30 minutes – so no stress if you’re in a rush, dart out of the house and you’re unsure if you turned them off!

Molton Brown

Missing your holidays? Even down to the posh shampoos that sneak into our suitcases? If so, then say hello to Molton Brown. With rare, rich ingredients in their bath and body products, Molton Brown brings pure luxury into our daily routines – and we know they’re all Glossy favourites! I recently bought the Molton Brown 1973 Mandarin & Clary Sage Conditioner – which left my hair refreshed and healthy. I will use it again, and again, and again! Presented in the signature bottle, it felt nothing short of luxe. All I was missing was my white fluffy hotel robe.

Rimmel London

Every football team has a crowd favourite that turned out to be huge value for money and a really reliable player – Rimmel is that brand for me. Makeup for all skin tones and styles, whether you want full glam or natural. My favourite product – that I use everyday – is the Match Perfection Foundation. It applies so easily with either a brush or beauty sponge – and both work great! Have I done my makeup and then looked in the mirror and said “Live the London look”? Cringe I know, but yes! Yes I have.

Ciaté London

Ciate London is the indie brand we all should know about. Like a new footballer on the scene who creates chances and scores spectacular goals, Ciaté has really made its mark. With unexpected, inventive makeup and skincare products, this brand continually takes the beauty world by storm. The brand’s latest collection is SO fun – and that includes the Ciaté London x Miss Piggy All About Moi! Palette. With four highly-pigmented shades that work for all skin tones (and smell like donuts!), it’s a must for summer. My go-to shade is ‘Fabulous’ – a coral red – which will give your cheeks an eye-catching flush of colour.

Illamasqua

In my starting 11, Illamasqua is my striker. All about self expression, vibrancy and high performance, it’s the star of the show. For the last decade, this brand has given its customers freedom to be as creative as they want through its one-of-a-kind products. Illamasqua’s brand new summer collection includes the Hydra Lip Tint Mocktail (CHERRYPINK) and it’s become my new go-to. My friends reading this will laugh as the only reason I chose this shade was because it was called mocktail – but there are five tints to choose from which – all enhanced with peach and apricot hazel oil – will grace your lips with pure hydration!

Eyeko

If there was a ‘man of the match’ for eye makeup, Eyeko wins. Using Korean made botanical formulas, Eyeko’s eyeshadows, eyeliners and mascaras are a must in your makeup bag. I love that I don’t have to try hard with these products either, they work so easily. They highlight my natural beauty and give me the confidence I want to feel from an eye product.

As I mentioned earlier I LOVE a nude palette so when I saw Eyeko had released three nude toned palettes – the Eyeko Limitless Eyeshadow Palette 3. The shimmers are stunning and the shades ‘Creator’ (a jet black) and ‘Bare’ (a deep warm brown) are also perfect for crafting a smoky eye look or using as a shadow liner too!

Lottie London

Lottie London is the ‘cool kid on the block. When you want to have fun and play around with makeup, Lottie is your go to girl! With bright, bold beauty products, this brand ‘the signing of the summer’. The brand’s new Ombré Brush Set is the brush collection of summer dreams. This set contains five ‘cool girl vibe’ millennial pink to nude ombré effect brushes all with synthetic, soft bristles. There’s a buffer brush, three tapered brushes for bronzer, highlight and eyeshadow, and a pointed concealer brush – all we need to create a glowy summer look.

Barry M Cosmetics

Barry is the captain of my team – trustworthy and has always been around. Celebrating its 40th birthday next year – Barry M is the star when it comes to dramatic looks and the latest beauty trends. The brand’s newest XXXL Plumping Chilli Lip Gloss showcases what it does best – creating unique products that stand out. For someone who orders mango and lime at Nando’s with plain chips (another moment for my friends to laugh at), I was slightly nervous to try this out. Would my lips sting too much? Would I hate it? Truth is – no! My pout ended up plumped and glossy!

Pixi Beauty

Pixi Beauty is not only trendy right now with its mint green pastel packaging, but it’s perfect for creating a summer glow. The brand pioneers in skincare and, if you’re looking for makeup that gives radiance, highlights natural beauty and is multi-purpose, then Pixi is ‘player of the season’. I love the PIXI Glow Toner. Not only does it purify skin, it moisturises (thanks to key ingredient aloe vera), it hydrates and leaves you with a beautiful natural glow. Use it when you want to rock a no makeup day, or to refine the appearance of pores and give you a lovely glow under your cosmetics. “Unbelievable Jeff!”.

Another Glossy favourite! ELEMIS provides us with products that have a professional spa feeling, that you can enjoy from the comfort of our own home! Manufactured in the UK, each product is kind to the skin and has a number of celebrity fans, including Victoria Beckham and Kate Hudson! I’m sure you’ve all seen ELEMIS featured in your favourite YouTubers evening routine too…

My first experience with ELEMIS was this year, in the GLOSSYBOX Mother’s Day box.
