Our latest collector’s edition box is far too pretty not to re-use, so this month we set about creating three different ways to to upscale it.
From pretty storage solutions for all your new beauty essentials to the perfect little storage container for your summer sunglasses. Here are three ways to upscale this month’s box…
Sunglasses holder
1. Taking a large piece of card, cut it into three rectangles measuring 14cm by 16cm.
2. Fold each piece of card in two so it measures 7cm by 8cm. Next, fold the base of each of the long sides upwards to create a 1cm flap. This will act as a ‘prop’ to help it stand up.
3. Apply a little glue to each flap and place each one vertically into your box base, ensuring an even gap is left between each divide.
4. Once the glue is dry, pop your sunglasses in place!
Beauty storage: two compartments
1. Taking a large piece of card, cut out one rectangle measuring 14cm x 20cm.
2. Fold it in two so it measures 7cm by 10cm, then fold the base of one of the long sides upwards to create a 1cm flap. This will act as a ‘prop’ to help it stand up.
3. Apply glue to the flap and pop it horizontally into the box, creating two even section. Wait until it’s dry, then you can fill it! It’s the ideal shape for makeup brushes, FYI.
