Four Of Our Favourite Spas

Whether you’re going all out and immersing yourself in a luxury overnight stay with the girls, are in need of a little ‘me time’ or are popping for a quick pedi, there’s nothing quite like a trip to the spa for relaxing, refreshing and reviving yourself.

So face masks and fluffy gowns at the ready, it’s time for a spot of pampering. Here are four of our favourite spas that are quite literally the epitome of zen…

Ragdale Hall, Leicestershire
best-spas-RagdaleThis is, without a doubt, the perfect country retreat for a weekend away with the girls. Set on beautiful grounds and inhibiting the charm of traditional Victorian architecture, Ragdale Hall provides a whole host of things to do and ways to relax – namely the state-of-the-art thermal spa. From taking some quiet time in the soothing candle pool (which literally looks like a beautiful cave adorned in twinkling lights) to invigorating your senses in the heated Scented Room or trying out the many saunas and steam rooms, you won’t fall short of different facilities to immerse yourself in. Especially when you add to that the extensive treatment menu featuring the likes of Decleor massages, Elemis body treatments and Clarins facials – everyone from men to mums-to-be is catered for.

There’s even the option to take part in a fitness class or two should you fancy it. Oh, and if you opt in for an overnight stay, they’ll bring you breakfast in bed. What more could you really ask for? Treatments start at £30, while a spa day at Ragdale Hall starts from £79 – or you can make a weekend of it for £384.
