Get Your Feet Sandal-Ready

Sandal season has (finally) arrived and so it’s high time we treated our feet to a little TLC to ensure they look their very best before being exposed for all to see.

Luckily, there are a plethora of ways to give yourself perfectly pedicured feet from the comfort of your own home.

Nourish
Keep your feet hydrated all summer long with a regular hit of intensive moisturiser. The best thing to do it slather it on your feet in the evening before you go to bed then pop some socks on to stop it transferring onto your bedding. We love Margaret Dabbs Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion, £25, for its ability to leave your feet silken. Ingredients like emu oil will heal and reduce any inflammation to ease weary feet, while lemon myrtle leaves an amazing scent in its path!

Exfoliate
When dry skin occurs, there is no better remedy than a deep exfoliation via Footner’s genius Exfoliating Socks, £14.99. We’re going to be honest, the experience can seem slightly terrifying at first (your feet literally shed like a snake for a week after use) but the super smooth and baby soft skin you’re left with makes it all totally worth it.

Condition
Our toes deserve the same kind of treatment as our hands, so it’s only right we apply a little cuticle serum every now and again. Sally Hansen’s Complete Treatment Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil, £6.95, works to strengthen and hydrate the nails and cuticles, in turn making the perfect base for a slick of colourful polish.

The finishing touch…
Switch out your winter polishes for summer’s ‘it’ colours – we’re talking chalked pastels or a slick of delicate nude for a subtle touch of colour that will have your feet looking prepped, primed and polished.
