Another year has nearly passed and the beauty industry has continued to reign supreme… And, this year, there were plenty of products that had their viral moment on social media.

Keep scrolling, to see the beauty products that trended online this year! Whether you saw it on your FYP, your insta feed or YouTube Shorts, all these products were unsurpassed!

So without further ado...Welcome to our Hall of Fame 2022.

This makeup and skincare hybrid, took over everyone's 'For You' page this year! If you need coverage for dark circles, but you also suffer from under-eye puffiness then the NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Concealer Serum is For You! (Excuse the pun!)

Tremella mushroom, cica and green tea boost hydration and locks in moisture, leaving you with a smooth finish, with no chance of creasing!

I love the way this concealer feels on my skin too. It has a lightweight, dreamy feel but covers dark circles, blemishes and redness brilliantly.

Every time I go on my FYP Page, I cannot escape CeraVe! There’s no denying that social media is partially to thank for CeraVe’s success – CeraVe is a social media fave!

TikTok users are posting their reactions and results from using CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser and people are living for it! So, of course, I couldn’t resist adding this cleanser to my basket and giving it a try. And I’m so glad I did!

This cleanser is so lightweight and dissolves dead skin and pore-clogging impurities to improve the appearance of a smoother surface. Perfect for a no makeup day or for creating a fresh, clean base for your makeup.

It glides across your skin, eliminating traces of dirt, oil and makeup. Glossies, it has our fave skincare ingredient, hyaluronic acid, in it too, which reinforces your skin's natural barrier.

Self-care has been at the forefront of everyone's minds for the past few years and curating a perfect skincare routine has been a big part of a lot of glossies self-care rituals - and all year the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment has been trending online!

Formulated using Centella Asiatica (Tiger Grass), this rich mask encourages your skin to tap into its own natural restorative cycles, aiding redness and blemishes. The unique formula boasts the ability to prevent dust and other unwanted particles, from harming your delicate, sensitive skin.

The consistency is quite thick, so a little goes along way. Everyone has been astounded by how much colour correcting this magic cream gives, no foundation needed!

Glossies, one of my fave products I've used this year is, by far the PIXI On-The-Glow Blush. These glow-inducing blush sticks trended this year with hundreds of beauty lovers trying out and loving the results from these long-lasting, lightweight blushes.

After one swipe, your complexion is lifted, brightened and even better, hydrated! The shade Fleur is a gorgeous light candy pink - perfect to rock the 'Cold Girl' Makeup look that's trending this winter!

The two things I always want from a cream blush is that it's buildable and blendable and this is exactly what you get from PIXI. You can also use this product as a soft lip tint too. (You know at Glossy HQ we love a multi use product.) The blush is housed in a stick-like applicator, which gives you controlled and precise application every single time.

Ask anyone their top five blushes of all time and you know Nars Orgasm blush is up there, hence why their NARS Cosmetics Liquid Blush Orgasm has been trending all year!

Liquid Blush has trumped powder Blush this year with a lot of us beauty lovers opting for a Liquid Blush. Mainly because a little goes a long way! One pump offers the best amount of colour for a natural-looking winter glow.

Their top selling shade Orgasm, provides a sheer, cute pink hue with a festive golden shimmer. With an added blend of Monoi and Tamanu oils, Nars delivers much needed moisture to your complexion, for this time of year.

Forget blotting papers, the Revlon Volcanic Stone Oil-Absorbing Roller is your new go to when you're in the need for a touch up.

Crafted from volcanic stone, this roller glides easily across your face, absorbing oils and like magic - leaving your skin looking like you've just applied a matte finishing powder!

Great for the environment over blotting papers, this is a reusable tool - perfect to pop in your handbag too! Just make sure you clean after use - but say goodbye to that midday shine and have your makeup looking slick all day and night!

If you're craving sleek, shiny hair, especially in this weather - then you need to join the hype and give Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil a try! This product has been a big hit this year and for good reason! - and of course I gave it a go!

You can use this oil on dry or wet hair - I found it easier to incorporate into my routine, after I've washed my hair, so while it's wet - as it also has heat protection for up to 232°C, so protects my hair while drying and styling.

Once dried, my hair is always left with a satin-like shine and smooth, straight hair - no flyaways! Thanks to the brand's pioneering bond-repair technology. Also if you colour your hair - this oil also keeps hair colour vibrant for longer!

You know how people say putting on your favourite clothes can instantly boost or change your mood? Well that's how I feel when I put on my favourite makeup. Makeup isn't to cover up, it's to show off our personality - and I love how everyone does their makeup in their own unique way! I never leave the house without a tinted lip balm in hand, and just like everyone right now, I love a good dupe!
