My skin can be temperamental – one minute its oily, the next it feels horribly dry. But this moisturiser has got all that under control. My skin has never felt so refreshed and hydrated. My complexion also looks so much brighter and even. At first, I added this moisturiser into my already established skincare routine. Even if I'm not wearing makeup, I always sort out my brows – and (probably in rebellion against my early 00s brows) the bigger and bushier they are now, the better! Which is why this clear brow gel from NYX Professional Makeup has become my brow’s best friend. It’s so easy to get the look I'm after with minimal effort, and my brows stay put all day.The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
When my skin feels bumpy and my pores feel clogged, The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is my go-to. The acids in this peel exfoliate the surface layer of skin, cleaning deep into pores, as well as combating blemishes and visibly improving uneven texture. This peel is a powerful resurfacing treatment that morning or night - or even during my WFH lunchbreak – takes only ten minutes to leave my skin feeling revitalised and toned.Dr. PAWPAW Original Balm
I couldn’t live without this balm anymore – especially not during colder, windier months. It’s one of the first products I put on my lips in the morning, and it’s the last one I put on before I go to bed. However, as a multi-tasking miracle, it has so many other uses I love it for too. Made from a variety of natural ingredients, this balm from Dr. PAWPAW is perfect as a skin protector, moisturiser, for sun burn, skin irritations, and as a hair conditioner!
Olaplex No4 And No5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo And Conditioner
I started using Olaplex the middle of last year after hearing loads of positive things about it. The whole Olaplex range is free of silicone and sulphates which is very important for me when it comes to haircare. The texture is smooth and silky, and that’s exactly how my hair feels after using it. I have long, thick, bleached blonde hair, and since using Olaplex my hair has never felt so healthy! It may be a tad on the expensive side but you only need to use a small amount of each so a little does go a long way!
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish
If you think all you needed was a concealer then think again! The Magic Varnish colour corrects and literally vanishes any skin pigmentation meaning dark circles are gone. Charlotte says to apply this under the eye before your concealer and it really does work! I also use on any other small areas of my face where I may need that bit little extra coverage.
Perricone MD No:Rinse DMAE Firming Pads
I discovered this brand last year and I’m now obsessed! These toner pads are great to introduce into your morning skincare routine as they’re quick and easy to use. They perform a firming and brightening effect on the skin, and since using my skin has been a lot clearer and my skin tone more even. They also tackle fine lines and wrinkles, so as a toner they bring so many benefits. You get 60 pads in a jar... I wouldn’t be without them now.
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel
I’m not the best at remembering to fake tan and I also find powder bronzers to be quite harsh on my complexion. But a few years ago, I discovered this Chanel cream bronzer and it’s probably the one makeup product I wouldn’t be without. The result is a sun-kissed natural healthy glow. If I’m having a good skin day, then the only makeup I will apply to my skin is this product. With it being a cream, it’s lightweight and nourishing on the skin and it lasts for ages - so worth the investment!
TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream
With Korean skincare being all the rage at the moment, I decided to try this cream and it's perfect for my combination skin. This moisturiser is so lightweight, yet very hydrating, and leaves my skin feeling fresh and glowy. I use it morning and night and have I noticed that my skin tone and texture has improved already. The smell reminds me of being in a spa!
Laura Mercier Tinted Oil-Free Moisturiser
This is my work from home makeup staple. It evens out my skin tone with a light to medium coverage and feels very comfortable on the skin. You only need a small amount, so it is really quick and easy to apply. This really suits combination/oily skin as it is not too matte or too dewy. It is the perfect work meeting makeup!
