Later this month, I’ll be attending The Makeup Festivalwith some of the other Glossy girls – and I have to admit I’m so excited! We’ll be sharing all the fun on the day across our social channels. In the meantime, though, here’s everything you need to know about The Makeup Festival 2019!
What Is The Makeup Festival?
A celebration of all things makeup, The Makeup Festival is every beauty lover’s dream event. It’s whole six hours of makeup masterclasses, with tips and tricks by professional makeup artists, entertainment, music and more.
You can also explore a range of beauty stalls, testing and trying a range of must-have makeup products.
Masterclasses by MUAs
This festival includes free masterclasses from some of the best makeup artists in the UK, including @lo_lavxo, @cle.makeup, @kiimmiki, @_styled.by.abrahams_, @zoe.ellen.mua, @gordgeorge. They’ll each be demonstrating how to create their signature look, providing step-by-step tutorials and tips.
Pop Up Shops
At The Makeup Festival, you can also discover the latest trending makeup products. They’ll be over 40 pop up makeup shops, including Urban Decay, Doll Beauty and Memi Makeup, where you can test and buy the hottest and most popular makeup products.
Insider Tip: Though most shops take card payments, I’d recommend bringing some cash too, just in case.
Food And Entertainment
There will also be food stalls, bars and music to keep makeup lovers entertained.
When And Where Does It Take Place?
The Makeup Festival 2019 takes place on Sunday, 21st of July from 11am to 5pm at the Chester Race Course. There’s free parking right outside the venue, as well as disability access to the event.
