Cosmic Vixen Eyeshadow Palette

Tutorial: Your Festive Eye Look
You can create a multitude of looks with these glittery Christmas colours. To inspire you, our in-house makeup artist Lucinka has created a shimmery eye look that you can easily recreate at home.
These beautiful shades don’t have names, so we’ve numbered them below for you.
Step One
When creating your festive eyelook, you want a smooth base to work off. Apply a primer across your lid to prep your skin, take out natural oils and cover veins. Why not use the MUA Professional Eye Primer? You can buy it here.
Step Two
Now for the base colour. Apply the festive matte red (1) across the lid and blend into your crease and up towards your eyebrows.
Step Three
Next, you want to blend the gorgeous mauve shade (2) into your crease. I just love how much depth and definition it adds to the look.
Step Four
It wouldn’t be a Christmas look without some glittery flare! Add a little brown shimmer (3) to the outer corners of your eyes. It’s easiest to apply the pearlescent colours using your fingers. Simply dab it on so the glitter really packs a punch!
Step Five
Now for our favourite shade in the palette. Apply the lovely golden hue (4) to the centre of your lid. It’s so sparkly! Don’t you just love how pigmented these shades are?
Step Six
For extra flourish, apply the delicate silver-gold colour (5) to the inner corner of your eye and under the arch of your eyebrow. It lights up the eye for a vibrant eye look.
Step Seven
Repeat these steps on your lower lash line. Apply (5) to the inner corner of the lower lashes and (3) to the outer corner, making sure to leave a gap in the middle. You can then sweep (1) in the gap and blend the colours together.
Step Eight
Apply a thin line of eyeliner to your upper and lower lash line and smudge out the outer corners for a sultry and dramatic look. Lucinka loves to use the Inglot AMC gel liner in black. This fabulous paint pot allows for precise application and, because it's waterproof, the depth of the colour lasts much longer than a regular pencil.
Step Nine
Round off the look with lashings of mascara. Why not use the MDMflow Greater Than mascara you got in your Advent Calendar? It’ll lengthen and curl your lashes for a bold, dramatic finish.
