August’s Facebook Live: Your Questions Answered

If you caught this afternoon’s Facebook Live with Sarah and Alice, you will have seen an unboxing of our special design August ‘Pride’ box, with the best tips and tricks on how to use some of products! Don’t worry if you missed it, you can watch it here.

It’s always amazing to see all your questions about this month’s products during our Facebook Live, so I’ve gone through the comments and answered them below!

We also gave our viewers the chance win an INCREDIBLE beauty bundle worth over £450! This competition is open until Sunday so make sure to Like, Share and Comment on this month’s Facebook Live for your chance to win this amazing collection of products from brands such as 3INA, Trifle Cosmetics, Rimmel London and Victoria’s Secret PINK!

3INA The Shadow Paint

The midnight blue cruelty-free Shadow Paint from 3INA is perfect whether you want a striking look or something more subtle.

I felt the box was a bit too young for me this month.

Now, I know some of you are thinking – “I’m too old for blue eyeshadow”- but don’t panic! Our resident makeup artist has created some subtle eye looks that you can create too. Try lining your eyes in blue using an angled brush as a fresh and modern alternative to traditional black eyeliner. Check out her tutorial here.

I haven’t tried mine yet does it cause creasing?

Lynn Casey ·

This cream eyeshadow is silky smooth, so if you use an eyeshadow primer before applying it, it won’t crease and you’ll have flawless coverage for hours! I recommend the Urban Decay Primer Potion in the shade Eden.

Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam

You are all loving the Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam and a few of you asked whether it feels sticky after application.

But because it is a tint, it sinks straight into your skin and doesn’t feel sticky at all. Watch how quickly it sinks in. You can also check out our tutorial here.

Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter

Another product all our subscribers received this month is the illuminating, 8-hour highlighter from Kaleido Cosmetics. Spreading the love, this dazzling product is 100% cruelty-free, vegan friendly and smells gorgeous too! Some of you have asked for the best method to blend this highlighter seamlessly:

I’m struggling with this highlighter I end up with a streak that won’t blend.

Sherry Danielle

I find that an eyeshadow brush or a damp beauty blender is the best way to blend this into your skin. Or for a more subtle look, try mixing a couple of drops into your foundation for an illuminated complexion.

Rimmel London Foil Tattoo and Heart Stamp Tattoo

I love the temporary tattoos from RIMMEL’s Ink Me range. A few of our Glossies were worried that these were just for younger Glossies, but rest assured there is a look for everyone. If you want to another way to use the tattoo stickers then check out our tutorial here. From decorating your nails, to your notepad or your water bottle, the possibilities are endless.

As for your heart stamp, there are so many cute and subtle looks out there you can try. How cool is this heart eye flick?

Boohoo #LoveIs Collection

Where are your clothes from?

Alice and Sarah were wearing the Boohoo #LoveIs collection! 10% of all profits from this clothing range will be divided between the LGBT charities the Terrence Higgins Trust and the Rainbow Fund.
