Happy St Patrick's Day! If you're planning on making a statement with your makeup to celebrate this year, we've got some great makeup inspo for you! We picked the best St Patrick's Day inspired beauty looks on Instagram created by makeup artists AND suggested products on how you can recreate them!

Pot of Gold

Everyone knows the Irish tale that there is a Leprechaun with a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. We love this full glam look by swayzemorgan who is fully embracing St Patrick's Day as you can see through not one but three different looks on her Instagram. Swayze used The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette, a collaboration with Morphe (£37) to create this look. If you're feeling a little tight for cash, you could also use Thebalm Meet Matt(e) Shmaker Eyeshadow Palette with the shades Jamie Wong and Matt Wong (£27.50) and then add a gold shadow of your choice.

Emerald Glitter Liner

We love any excuse to add a bit of sparkle to our eyes. Lit Cosmetics are rising alongside the release of  Disney's new film Wrinkle in Time as Oprah's makeup artists revealed that he used Lit Cosmetics glitter for her glitter lip throughout the film! This St Patrick's Day look was created using the shades Caviar Dreams & Magic Dragon. Peaches & Cream do stock Lit Cosmetics for the UK, however they usually sell out SUPER quick so keep checking if you want this product!  As an alternative, use MAC Pigment in the shade Emerald Green (£16.50) for a similar affect. Apply this glitter pigment with a dry or wet brush on top of your liner for glittering liner.

Green with Envy

This look can transition from St Patrick's Day to Halloween! This lipstick by Lime Crime in the shade Serpentina (£12) is a metallic green long lasting liquid lipstick that will give you the effect of iridescent emerald lips and has a matte finish that will have you feeling in the mood for St Patrick's Day celebrations and will hold up on a night out. As an alternative try MAC Grand Illusion Glossy Liquid Lip Colour (£18) in the shade PEACE, LOVE, UNITY, RESPECT.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

We love this Rainbow inspired look by Erin! She used the bright colours in the 35B Morphe Palette (£23) to achieve this eye catching look that could also double as a Pride look in August! A dupe we would recommend to try this look, that you can get with your Glossy Credits, would be the Lottie London 'The Rainbows' Eyeshadow Palette (£9.95)! To make it a little more Irish, apply a some eyelash glue to where you want to add a bit more sparkle and place a single Shamrock confetti or green glitter on top of it.

We'd love to see your attempts of these fantastic looks! Share your pics on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and tag #glossyboxuk!

I'm someone who loves getting glammed up, but I feel like I never have enough time. Frequently running between work, the gym and seeing friends means my makeup routine is quick and often touched up on the go. Therefore, beauty products that serve as multi-purpose are perfect for me - a blush that works for cheeks and lips is a must in my makeup bag!
