Words can't describe how brilliant the 2025 advent calendar is. It contains the most amazing products, I especially love the candle and diffuser and the box is stunning, and unlike most other beauty advent calendars the design is not focused on Christmas so can be used as beautiful addition to the dressing table because of its large storage capacity...I was originally going to gift it but after receiving it, I've decided to keep it..... This years advent calendars have general been underwhelming from most companies but for around the £90 mark you’d be hard pushed to find a better one than the Glossybox one, it has a decently varied selection of products, one or two big name brands and expensive products where you definitely make up the initial cost of the calendar. My only issue is the size of the packaging, most boxes were well oversized for the contents they contained and I think a nice smaller more compact box may have worked just as well this year. I must point out that my box came damaged, not enough to damage the contents but to be unable to give as a gift or reuse to store items as intended and trying to reach a decision from Glossybox on a refund/credit was hard work. I think initially I was offered a £2 credit on the account (!) which I rejected so I did think the service was poor regarding that side of things, considering the box looked awful being bashed in.

Best ‘affordable’ calendar this year!
It’s not perfect with a few ‘typical filler’ items however, looking at all the affordable (around £70-120 range), this one seemed the best value for me due to items such as Rituals diffuser (LOVE them in my office and bathrooms), ND palette, the Morphe SPF setting spray (as someone who uses spf daily, this was a great product to try!), the medik8 toner and finally, for the commodity perfume (great for layering with a vanilla too for a woody, but creamy sweet scent, or a floral top note for a woody base. These few items alone make up double what you pay, so.. I got 2! I’ll be taking the items I’m interested in and filling up the calendars to then gift for Christmas!

This calendar doesn’t have any or many high end products. Lots of make up accessories which are just copies of previous calendars. Most items very small and not exciting.

A Grown-Up Treat I Can’t Wait to Open!
I decided to treat myself to the GLOSSYBOX 2025 Advent Calendar as a fun and luxurious alternative to the usual chocolate countdown. I’ve (bravely) hidden it away until December 1st to resist temptation, but I couldn’t help catching a few spoilers here and there. From what I’ve seen, the mix of beauty, skincare, and other little treats looks incredible! Even though I haven’t tested the products yet, I love that this calendar is filled with a variety of goodies — perfect for discovering new favorites. The design itself is beautiful and definitely something I’m planning to repurpose once it’s empty, maybe as makeup or skincare storage. It feels like a special gift to myself and I’m really looking forward to opening each drawer throughout December!
