October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beauty brands around the world are all launching Limited Edition collections to show their support. If you want to help out, here are five products you can buy, with proceeds going to cancer charities.

1. Look Good Feel Better Makeup Brushes

If you’re thinking of investing in some new makeup brushes or just want to add to your collection (because, let’s face it, you deserve it!), then why not opt for one of the 16 brushes and beauty sponges that are sold in support of Look Good Feel Better (LGFB).

Now operational in 27 countries, LGFB has supported nearly 2 million people since it was founded 25 years ago. They provide workshops, information and online support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Their makeup brushes are PETA accredited cruelty-free and vegan, as well as hypoallergenic. Plus, 10% of the proceeds from these makeup brushes go to the charity. You can buy yours from lookfantastic.

2. Revitalash Eternally Pink Packaging

Year round supporters of breast cancer awareness, research and education, Revitalash always go that extra mile in October. This year, they are revamping the packaging of their Revitalash Advanced and Revitabrow Advanced Conditioner.

Now boasting an ‘Eternally Pink’ Limited Edition packaging, these two products will help you to achieve noticeably thicker, bolder and more conditioned eyelashes/brows, while supporting breast cancer fighters. It’s a win-win!

3. GhD gold ink pink styler

I’ve no doubt that you’ve seen ghd’s ink on pink collection before. Designed by a Chicago-based mastectomy tattoo artist, David Allen, these Limited Edition hair straighteners are adorned with his signature floral artwork that evokes a sense of femininity. The flowers symbolise both life and rebirth.

Of course, they also feature ghd’s smooth, contoured plates that glide effortlessly through your hair. You’ll be left with sleeker, smoother and healthier-looking locks. Better yet, £10 of every sale from the ink on pink collection is donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. What’s not to love?

4. Elemis Limited Edition Super-Size Pro-Collagen Marine Cream

Ask any Elemis worshipper (guilty!) and they’ll tell you that nothing beats their iconic Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. An anti-ageing moisturiser, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and makes skin look firmer, more toned and more hydrated.

Well, now you can look good and feel good while you do it. Elemis have brought out a Limited Edition Super-Size version adorned with the iconic pink breast cancer ribbon. Regardless of sales, they have pledged to donate £25,000 to the UK-based charity Breast Cancer Care. You can buy yours from lookfantastic now.

5. Vans X CoppaFeel Collection

It’s not just beauty companies who are getting involved, though. American retailer Vans has collaborated with CoppaFeel (a charity that encourages women to regularly check their breasts) to create an exclusive breast cancer awareness collection.

Featuring breast-themed patterns, some designs demonstrate how to carry out a self-examination, while others depict women of all races with bare chests. It symbolises the universality of breast cancer, which affects all women regardless of age or race.

$200,000 of the proceeds will be donated to CoppaFeel, a UK-based organisation. You can buy yours from most major retailers, including Office.

About Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual global campaign held every October. Major breast cancer charities work together to increase awareness of the disease, while also raising funds for research.

The campaign also offers support to those affected by cancer and educates people on the importance of early screening.

If you’d like to find out more about how to detect the signs of breast cancer, you can visit Breast Cancer Now’s website. For more ways to support cancer fighters, check out this blog.
