The Best Shows To Watch On Netflix This December

The Best Shows To Watch On Netflix This December

Netflix has so many easy-to-watch sitcoms, historical dramas and interesting documentaries to choose from, but what are the best shows to watch on Netflix this December? Whether you’re into comedies, romances or real-life shows, I’ve found the perfect picks for you…

A Coming-Of Age Comedy: Atypical

If you often ask yourself what it means to be ‘normal’, then you’ll find this comedy very funny and relatable.

One of the best shows to watch on Netflix, Atypical draws you in and you’ll end up falling in love with all of the characters.

Atypical is a coming-of-age story that follows Sam, an 18-year-old who is on the autism spectrum, as he searches for independence. Through his journey, his family finds themselves grappling with what it means to be ‘normal’ too. It’s moving, endearing and relatable. I can’t recommend it enough.

A Culinary Documentary: The Game Changers

There’s been a lot of media coverage of this documentary and it’s honestly so interesting.

Reversing all the stereotypes around meat and protein, this documentary presents you with the facts about plant-based diets in such a way that may just convince you to make the switch.

Yes, this documentary discusses all of the benefits of switching to a plant-based diet, but don’t be too quick to dismiss it as vegan propaganda. It actually reveals the facts in a very to-the-point and easy-to-understand way. The producers don’t try to convert you, merely present you with their findings so that you can assess what is best for you yourself. Just give it a go. You won’t be sorry.

A Historical Drama: The King

If you like period dramas, then you’ll definitely love this Netflix Original film.

While the facts related aren’t true or realistic, the story itself is enticing with some epic battle scenes.

Hal is the heir to the English throne but, reluctant to take on his princely duties, he has turned his back on his royal life to live among the people. When his tyrannical father dies, though, he is crowned King Henry V and is forced to navigate the chaotic politics, chaos and war his father left behind.

A Christmas Film: Holiday In The Wild

I couldn’t share the best shows to watch on Netflix without also mentioning some of their newly-released Christmas films.

Silly but charming, this film is easy to watch and will warm your heart.

Netflix is the king of cheesy Christmas films (in fact, I’ll be sharing a whole list of them with you next month) and this one doesn’t disappoint. A sappy love story with a cute elephant-related storyline, it’s easy to watch and family-friendly.

And there you have it, four of the best shows to watch on Netflix this December.
