A Quick How-To Guide For Your Konjac Sponge
When you first take the sponge out of its box, don’t be put off by the fact that it’s rock hard. Simply soak it thoroughly in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes before using it. This will give the sponge ample time to become soft.
As the sponge contains cleansing activated charcoal (an ingredient that makes the sponge more absorbent) you don’t need to apply any additional cleanser or skincare product to it. It will scrub away any excess oil or grime on its own. Simply massage it gently into your face, neck and upper chest in a circular motion. This will stimulate blood flow and encourage skin regeneration. When you’ve finished scrubbing, close your pores by splashing your face with cold water and then pat your skin dry.
Keeping Your Sponge Fresh: To keep your sponge fresh, clean it after each use and rinse it well. I’d also recommend sterilising it in boiling water once a week.
How Long Does It Last? A quick warning though Glossies, your sponge should last for 2 to 3 months but be sure to discard it as soon as it starts to break down.
