Say it with flowers, chocolates or… nail art. Honour this Galentine's day by taking your nail game to the next level.

The February GLOSSYBOX features an array of Ciaté colours, the only question is - which will you receive?

Ciaté’s formulas have a gel finish and flexible formula, which minimizes chipping and provides up to 10 days of high gloss shine. Perfect for creating instagrammable nail art, no wonder the brand is loved by Beyoncé, Adele and Kylie Jenner.

Here's our very own Amy Forsythe demonstrating her nail art skills Glossy style. Aptly named: Flirty French, Cutie-cle Hearts & Daydreamer, there's bound to be one that takes your fancy.

So Flirty French

Paint your nails with a base coat from your favourite brand - we used Ciaté's Underwear Base Coat, £12.

Paint your nails with two coats of Pepperminty, £12, (or another gorgeous pale mint colour).

Paint a scalloped French tip along the top of your nail in a hue of your choice – we went for a metallic shade called Goal Digger, £12.

Sounds complicated? Use a dotting tool (or a bobby pin!) to draw a line of dots across the top section of your nail with the gold polish – this will create the scalloped edge.

Fill in the tips of your nail with the polish brush and tada; a sophisticated French mani with no wobbles!

Apply your top coat. We used the Ciaté Gelology Top Coat, £12 - a plumping formula designed to seal nail varnish whilst delivering a cushioned, gel-like effect.

Sophisticated and subtle, this look will go with any outfit.

Cutie-cle Hearts

Paint your nails with a base coat from your favourite brand - we used Underwear Base Coat, £12.

Paint your nails with two coats of Pillow Talk, £9, (or another sophisticated grey/beige colour). This is a gorgeous sultry hue.

Our favourite step yet! Now for the hearts. For the best results, use a nail art dotting tool. To create the V-shape of the heart, first place a dot to mark the point of the heart, then two more dots to mark the top of the ‘V’. Join the dots and then fill the V shape with polish, using the varnish brush to shape the heart at the top. We used the super cute colour Beach Please (£6 for the mini version.)

Add a splash of romance to your day.

You know the drill, top coat!

Daydreamer

Base coat time!

Paint your nails with two coats of Seas The Day, £6, (or another vibrant turquoise colour).

Now for the sponge. Add a stripe of Seas The Day onto the sponge and a stripe of What The Shell, £9 alongside.

Dab the sponge onto your nail - mermaid vibes!

Tidy up any bits with an eyeshadow brush dipped into acetone.

Applying a top coat will help to blend the mermaid colours together.

Cloud time!

These cute clouds are best done with a nail art dotting tool. We used the Barry M Gelly High Shine Nail Paint in Cotton, £3.99.

Do three dots and blend them together to create a cloud shape.
