Four Of The Best Highlighters, According To Bloggers

Highlighter may just be one of the most impactful products you could add to your makeup bag – namely because of its versatility and ability to pep up your complexion in an instant. It’s the secret behind a fresh faced glow, and the one thing you need to get on board with the recent trend for strobing. best highlighters

So with this in mind, we turned to some of our favourite beauty bloggers to find out which highlighters they rely on time and time again. Here’s what they had to say…

Fleur, Fleur de Force
‘Benefit Watt’s Up, £24.50 at Boots, is my all-time favourite cream highlighter. It’s subtle yet at the same time noticeable and the consistency is quite dry, so it doesn’t slip around or move during the day.’

Anne-Marie, Really Ree
‘My favourite highlighter has actually become a combination of two products. I have been completely sucked in by the whole strobing hype, which is basically highlighting amplified and I find these two products perfect to achieve the effect. I use the So Susan Statement Skin Stick as a creamy highlighting base and then set it with theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer, £17.50 at Feel Unique. The pen is great for targeted application and gives the skin a beautiful natural dewiness. A light dusting of the powder highlighter on top amps everything up for the cheekbones of dreams!’

Jen, Beauty Junkie London
‘My favourite highlighter is the already infamous ‘Champagne Pop’ by Becca x Jaclyn Hill. It’s one that’s currently only available in the US but it’s worth the air fare for the glow alone. Ok, maybe not quite the air fare but they really should bring it over to the UK asap. Becca in general do a whole host of gorgeous highlighters, so until it does make its way over in all it’s perfectly shimmering Champagne glory then they have plenty others to choose from – with Shimmering Skin Perfector, £33 at SpaceNK, being another personal favourite.’

Krista, Beauty and the Dirt
‘Lush Feeling Younger Skin Tint, £12 at Lush, is an ultra-light and creamy, mousse-like textured highlighter – it blends in evenly and literally paints your face with a youthful glow. It stays put all day and can be worn under makeup as well as blended with your moisturiser. With lovely ingredients, including soothing oatmeal, cocoa butter, jojoba and almond oils, it’s really nourishing as well.’
