Where is the lather?

Truly awful experience trying this shampoo. Definitely didn't do what it said on the bottle. Applied a ten piece size amount and it just lay on my scalp! Added more - several times and just could not get it to spread well on my head. It just didn't want to lather and getting my hair to gather into shape to rub the product in was a task. Shampooing should be simple and effortless and this was not. Left my hair feeling very matted and dried out. My hair is below shoulders and has blond highlights. This was no good at all and I used more product than I typically would use.
