Beauty in a pot

Not as good as it could have been...
2So when I received this in my Glossybox I got super excited! I really loved the last Steve Laurant Lipstick I received and so was looking forward to trying this. I eagerly got it out of my Glossybox, Unboxed it from it's beautiful rose gold packaging and popped some straight onto my lips. At first I thought "Ooh what a lovely nude colour!"....but then the next day I exfoliated and moisturised my lips well, then applied the lip tint. It dried my lips out instantly and just got stuck in any skin that it had dried up, leaving pigment there. I put clear gloss over the top to see if it'd help and it did a little. The colour was lovely and the effect from a distance was nice, but unfortunately it just looked like I was trying to cover up a really bad lipstick. It definitely needs more moisture in this product to make it wearable daily. Had it been slightly more balmy and moisturising but with the same pigment it'd look beautiful! One star for the colour. One star for the packaging. But none for the texture, longevity or wearability.Â

Love this brand
5I absolutely love the Steve Laurant brand, I'm glad glossybox introduced me to it. This is a lovely lip tint, I love that the colour is a nude colour and not too bright/dark.

Nice product
4This lip tint has a lovely creamy consistency and was more nourishing than I'd hoped, based on some previous reviews. The packaging is beautiful; however, the colour was a little pale for me. Overall a nice lip product.

3I love Steve Larant for their beautiful rose gold packaged products however as gorgeous as it looks I’m not a huge fan of the product inside. Not as nourishing as I’d like from a lip tint and too pale for me!Â
