I am surprised
5(blue revlon mascara) I was actually surprised that this mascara is good. Some of the mascaras can be watery and make a mess. Or too dry which makes a mess as well. But it is easy to apply, coats well. My lashes doesn't stick all together, brush runs through every lash.Yes, I'm happy with the result and I would by it again.

Love this mascara
4I got the blue one for volume and length and it's great, makes me lashes longer and fuller looking. The wand is perfect for achieving this because it's got plenty bristles on it.

Mixed bag...
3FIRST IMPRESSIONS… I was really pleased that a mascara was in May’s Glossybox and couldn’t wait to try it out! First impressions matter to me when buying beauty products, and on seeing this mascara in the shop I wouldn’t go for it. I can see that Revlon are after a sleek, simple and yet eye-catching design; but I am not a fan of the bright red top. To me this is more suited to a lip product, or maybe even a marker pen. It definitely wouldn’t look out of place in Rymans and I could see it sitting comfortably next to the highlighters! THE BAD BITS… When it comes to using this mascara, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The red half containing the wand has a glossy feel, is quite chunky and not easy to grip, whereas the half containing the mascara fluid has a matte texture and is much easier to hold. This would make sense the opposite way round, as the applicator is clumsy. I poked myself in the eye with it as it slipped the first time I tried it (not on purpose, I promise!!!). The brush itself is tiny and hollowed out, being one of the major selling points for this product. The idea would be to pick up as much mascara on/inside the brush as possible in order to create a really dramatic look that you can build up as you apply layers. In reality, the brush picks up too much product, and you apply a lot of mascara all at once. I started scraping the mascara off the brush as I used it, improving the application so much. Also I should note that it’s not waterproof at all – no crying or going out in the rain! THE GOOD BITS… Don’t be put off by all this negativity! There are great things about Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara that make it really worth going for if you can get past the initial design… The colour is very black and very strong. It’s probably not going to make your daytime look, but of an evening or a night out will be really dramatic. This is also due to the generosity of the fibres in the liquid – they will really add length to your lashes and definitely made mine stand out. Once you scrape the excess off the brush and get used to the wand, it is easier to really reach those tricky places in the corners of your eye. MY FINAL THOUGHTS… At £9.99 the price isn’t too bad for a product of this quality. I only applied one layer and loved the wide eyed look it gave me, my lashes are longer and well defined. I wouldn’t wear Revlon Ultimate All-In-One every day but I’m happy to have it in my collection for my next dinner date or night on the tiles! http://gemofftheshelvesbb.wordpress.com

Worth a try
4Great mascara. Doesnt transfer when dry and really lengthens lashes. Little brush is deceiving but does a great job.
