When I saw the colour, I did think, 'oh my, too bright for a 59 year old'. So, I did a trial run with the foundation I would be wearing, and it actually is a really lovely, soft shade. It goes on really nicely (I used my finger to apply), and it lasted. It is very buildable too. So, I started off light then just built up to my desired shade. I liked the consistency.
