Cooling Gel-like Moisturiser
As others have said, it’s not buttery it’s a watery gel consistency and the tube was nowhere near full. Those were the only 2 negatives for me. It’s not the most hydrating moisturiser I’ve used BUT… it’s really cooling on the skin and I found it sank in after about 3-4 mins depending on how much you use and you definitely don’t need to use much. I’ve used it day and night and I’ve found it good to wear under makeup - it doesn’t pill but I don’t wear heavy foundation so it may be different if you do. I’ve also used it almost as an under eye serum mixed very sparingly with concealer or colour corrector and found it helps my makeup not to settle in the lines around my eyes. I don’t believe that it’s worth £18 for a travel sized tube but if it was full size it would be reasonable value…. But then, perhaps it’s my stinginess because not sure I’ve used many moisturisers that I think are worth the £20 and over price point.

I am using it as an occlusive under the eyes - overpriced primer like gel
This is a little bit like a gel type primer.... Its rich enough that it doesn't sink into the skin in the manner one would expect of a 'butter'. I am using it as an occlusive over my eyecream underneath the eyes at night to leave my under eyes very soft. Wild Science are ok but I think the products are over pried for what they are - and this is again something I can use but I would never buy. All the Wild Science products I have ever had have come from beauty boxes and truthfully other than a lemon scented shampoo/conditioner/bodywash that arrived in a beauty box last year I wouldn't buy anything - when I went to buy them - they didn't even have them in stock!
