This product was strange to use, I have never used only 1 product on my hair but I wanted to try it. I went my hair then massage dit through ly scalp as if I was shampooing, it doesn't lather so I was unsure if i had used enough but I continued and massaged some onto the ends too. Then I left it to sit for 5 minutes. Rinsed it out the blow dried it. I was so impressed with the results it felt like it stripped all of the rubbish out of my hair. It also felt so soft and lasted 3 days before my hair started to feel greasy.
