I expected more of skincare but 80% of products is for makeup. I tried to resign from subscription but they didn’t agreed. Money money. After that just. Unhappy client no matter. Money matter.

The bag was a nice touch
I liked the velvet feeling makeup bag. The eyeshadow duo was pointless and felt cheap and like child's play make up, as did the lipstick. I won't be using those. The brush is nice, just another brush! The Avant exfoliator is ok, very overpriced but I personally think all Avant products are way over priced for what they are. I've not noticed any exfoliation. I've not used the hair gloss yet as I'm not sure I want to put it near my tape extensions so might give it to my daughter to try. This months bag was better than last months box but I feel that these monthly boxes are becoming a bit meh. Would like maybe less items but better quality. The bag and brush are the best items this month.

The free box was disappointing
The actual box I paid for was nice, but that was to be expected. I knew exactly what was in it. The free box however is definitely not worth £53. That's just not possible. A mini deodorant? Really? And the epiphany exfoliating looked like it had been opened and used.

Charged for an extra month without receiving anything
I clicked on Insta ad on the 30th Nov, paid the promo £9.99. This was a 1-month, a one-off, payment according to the ad, not a subscription. I received one glossybox, the December one with the brush, eye shadows, lipstick etc. Today I noticed they actually charged me on the 1st of Dec for £13.50 and when i contacted customer service they said this is an autorenewal subscription, I should have switched it off. Nowhere on my account is there an option to switch off the autorenew or cancel the sub AND on top of that i never received a second glossybox - which they charged me for. Absurd!

Mystery boxes
I ordered three different Glossybox mystery boxes, expecting a variety of products. When they arrived, every box contained the exact same items, leaving me with three duplicates of everything. When I contacted Glossybox customer service, their response was incredibly disappointing—they told me I “should have been aware of this,” instead of offering any real help. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of care for customers. Because of this experience, I’m cancelling my membership. Terrible service and I definitely wouldn’t recommend their mystery boxes to anyone.
