5I've always wanted to try this product after always hearing such glowing reviews about it, however because I have dry skin I've been a bit dubious about buying an expensive powder as its not a product I use very often. However I was so impressed with this I would consider purchasing it again when it runs out, it was a lovely texture and it left a lovely glow on my skin after using it. It didn't make my skin look any more dry at all surprisingly. After not understanding all the fuss how one powder could cost a lot more than another brand after trying this product I totally get who people splurge on a more luxurious brand like this one.

3I was very excited to try this product, as I'd heard so many good reviews about the Laura Mercier Setting Powders. When I first used this product I was given quite a fright- I chose to use it to bake under my eyes like I normally do with translucent setting powders, however, I quickly realised that this is not a translucent setting powder but is in-fact a shimmery highlight powder- not the product that I thought it was. However, the highlighter is very nice. It's quite subtle when used alone, but I like to use it to highlight on my forehead and chin- where a prefer a less glow-y highlight and then go in with another on my cheekbones, nose, brow bone and cupids bow. I'm unsure if I will buy the full size of this because I prefer my hourglass ambient lighting powder for this purpose, but I will enjoy using this sample completely.

2So the hype for this is huge everyone loves it and I just don’t get it. So I tried using it for baking it and it left lines and it has a shimmer that is actually really over powering. So I actually use this as a base eyeshadow instead. Really didn’t like this powder.
