If you can bear the smell and price, it does at least reduce oil
3I was very intrigued by this product as the reviews are pretty good. I unfortunately couldn't stand the metallic/meaty smell as it lingers on your face even after face cream has been applied. Although I didn't use it long enough presumably to see a result (day and night for two weeks) on dark spots, I did like how it reduces the amount of oil my skin produces (I have very oily skin). The oxidised colour is apparently the natural vitamin C (I queried with the company) and should not affect the product. Sadly due to the high price tag and smell, I'm not sure I'd repurchase.

3I’m lucky that I don’t suffer with dark spots. Therefore this item wasn’t really for me anyway. I did tests on across the back of my hand and thought it smelt very strange. I wouldn’t necessarily want to put this on my face or anywhere close to my nose where I would smell it all day. I gave this to a friend.
