March is a Miss

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’m afraid March’s box definitely wasn’t a beauty, nor did it make me feel beautiful. The oil was neither here nor there, I’m not sure I see the point. I have short cropped hair so volume is always welcome, but it did nothing, it didn’t even really smell of anything. The cleansing balm was quite “meh” and for those who like a full face of makeup up definitely wasn’t an excellent make up remover. The lip balm was ok, great for my 10 year old to use on her lips when she’s going to a party as it’s really subtle, but it is SUPER sticky so there is no way I’d let her or I use it on our face or eyes. The eye mask felt like something you’d get for free on a flight or at a mid-level hotel. I’m not sure how it is beauty related and I can’t imagine most people who actually use masks regularly (I do) would be impressed - I wasn’t. Finally… the brown eyeliner was… well… brown eyeliner! - It isn’t smudge proof and ended up half way down my face - it’s also not particularly inclusive for any darker skinned ladies as it would be totally invisible. I actually kept looking in the box to see if there was anything else because I didn’t really think that could be it, but it was! As someone who rarely gets things for myself and a stay in hospital, I signed up to glossy box as a way to give myself a little surprise each month and try new products to see what I might like to get in full size. I’ve been reasonably pleased (I HATED the perfume!)with Jan/Feb but if April is like March then it will be an easy but sad decision to end the subscription and my little monthly treat 🥺.

Not Good 😩👎

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’m honestly extremely disappointed with my March Glossybox and felt I needed to leave a review because the overall experience has become worse and worse over time. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now, and what originally felt like a fun monthly treat has slowly turned into something that feels like a complete waste of money. The products in this month’s box were genuinely poor quality and nowhere near worth the price we pay as paying subscribers. It honestly feels like the effort and value that used to go into these boxes has completely disappeared. What makes it even more frustrating is seeing how new customers are constantly being offered free boxes, extra gifts, and better deals just for signing up. Meanwhile, those of us who have been loyal and paying every single month seem to be getting the worst products and the least value. It gives the impression that Glossybox only cares about attracting new customers and not about keeping the ones who have supported the service long-term. There is absolutely no sense of loyalty being rewarded anymore. Over the past few months the boxes have progressively gotten worse. The product selection feels lazy, repetitive, and low quality compared to what Glossybox used to provide. It no longer feels exciting to open the box each month because the items inside rarely feel useful, premium, or worth trying. It’s disappointing because the whole point of a beauty subscription is discovering great products and feeling like you’re getting good value. On top of the poor product quality, I’ve also had repeated delivery issues which have made the experience even more frustrating. On three separate occasions now my parcel has been left outside in the rain rather than being delivered properly or left somewhere safe. As a result, the boxes arrived completely soaked and the products inside were damaged. Beauty products should be packaged and delivered with care, and it’s unacceptable for them to be left exposed to the weather like that. Receiving damaged items because parcels have been left out in the rain is incredibly frustrating, especially when we are paying for a monthly service. It completely ruins the experience of receiving the box and makes it feel like there is very little care taken in the delivery process. Overall, the entire experience has become incredibly disappointing. Between the poor quality products, the lack of value for loyal customers, the constant focus on new customer promotions, and repeated delivery issues that have resulted in damaged products, the service has gone seriously downhill. Unless Glossybox starts improving the quality of their boxes, showing some appreciation for long-term subscribers, and ensuring parcels are delivered properly, it’s becoming very difficult to justify continuing the subscription.

Time to cancel

Box full of rubbish. The worst part was the cheap 'Glossybox brand' eye mask... how can they claim that's worth £12?! I'm cancelling my subscription as I'm bored of getting useless tat that I'm not going to use.

Absolutely terrible

What a disappointment, this is the worst box ever. There isn't one product that I would use. I feel they should resend us all a real box of products. I don’t want a Dr pawpaw cheap product and I’m sick of getting tinted lip balms. The ribbon wasn’t even tied in my box it was just chucked in, even they couldn’t be bothered with this awful box. I was so hopeful after the January and February boxes.

Worst box yet

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

This month's box has to be the worst one I've received. An eye mask! Which is pointless, another lip balm, cheap eye liner and face cleanser. This month's box (March) is absolute rubbish. I really hope the April box is a good one.
