If you’ve saved up your well-earned Glossy Credits, we’re always on hand to advise you on the best beauty products to spend them on! And this month is no different.

We’ve looked into the most on-trend colours this autumn, as chosen by Pantone themselves, to bring you the polishes you should be painting on your talons over the next few months.

7 Shades To Paint Your Nails This Autumn

Next time you're doing your nailsDIY, why not opt for one of the following on trend shades?

  1. True Blue
  2. Burnt Orange
  3. Mandarin Red
  4. Chocolatey Brown
  5. Slate Grey
  6. Earthy Green
  7. Camel Nude

True Blue

Autumn colours don’t have to be all doom and gloom, which is why we’re loving the fact that classic blue tones are set to be the colour on everyone’s nails this season. Feeling bold? Opt for brighter electric blue tones. Or, if subtle is more your thing, why not choose a darker navy shade for a more modern take on classic black.

Feeling a bit of blue on your fingertips? We're currently loving Mavala's 269 Deep Blue shade as well as the Nailberry L'Oxygene Maliblue Nail Lacquer.

Burnt Orange

As summer turns to autumn, expect to see pastel oranges and coral tones being swapped out for burnt orange shades. The leaves on the trees are turning this gorgeous colour, so why wouldn’t we want to reflect this on our nails too?

Want to give this colour a go? We recommend spending your Glossy Credits on either Le Mini Macaron's gel polish in Blood Orange, or Nails inc.’s NailPure Nail Varnish in ‘Womanger.

Mandarin Red

Whether you see this colour as more coral or more classic red, this in-between hue is a stunning transitional shadePerfect for all skin tonesmatch this colour with gold jewellery to really see it shine.

To make a mandarin red statement, we be spending our Glossy Credits on 'Moscow' by Mavala or essie's 64 Fifth Avenue polish.

Chocolatey Brown

A popular tone in the 1970s, this colour is making a comeback. Luxurious and chic, this shade is perfect for pairing with cosy neutral coloured knits in colder months.

For chocolatey nails that look good enough to eat, our favourite are 54 Rio from Mavala and Jessica's 'Toasted Pecans' polish.

Slate Grey

Simple and elegant. Whether you’re at work or a wedding, a party or just pampering to stay at home, this shade will never not be in fashion. Slate greys also look even cooler with a high-shine finish.

To get on board with this trend, we'd be spending our Glossy Credits on OPI's Scotland Limited Edition polish in shade 'Rub-a-Pub-Pub' or Mavala's 238 Sao Paulo.

Earthy Green

Another softer take on black, dark earthy green is a shade that's easily associated with autumn months. Universally flattering mossy hues, especially those with brown undertones, will complement neutral outfits, whilst also looking elegant and expensive!

To recreate this look, why not spend your Glossy Credits on our two earthy green favourites -  the Nailberry L'Oxygene Nail Lacquer Viva La Vegan and'Things I’ve Seen in Aber-green' from OPI's Scotland Limited Edition collection.

Camel Nude

You can never go wrong with a nude. This neutral staple is one that will keep on giving all year round, and this season is no exception. Want to mix things up a little? Try experimenting with an ombre nude look, or perhaps a camel colour in a matte finish!

If you're looking for a polish that's not only bang on trend right now, but that will also last you year after year, we suggest treating yourself to either 'Ivory Beige' from Mavala or Sally Hansen's 'Re-Nude'.

I'm someone who loves getting glammed up, but I feel like I never have enough time. Frequently running between work, the gym and seeing friends means my makeup routine is quick and often touched up on the go. Therefore, beauty products that serve as multi-purpose are perfect for me - a blush that works for cheeks and lips is a must in my makeup bag!
