Aubergine and terracotta are often overlooked when it comes to makeup, when in actual fact they’re two of the most flattering shades you could dust across your eyelids.

Most of us know how to smoke with jet black shadow or blend with nudes, but if you’re after a little inspiration when it comes to applying aubergine or terracotta hues, here are a few ways we’ve been applying these wintery tones to our lids. Look one
Using a fluffy brush, sweep theBalm’s Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow in Kumar across your whole lid and then use it to lightly line the lower lash line. Using an illuminating palette like essence Light Up you Face Luminizer Palette, press a shimmery highlighter onto the centre of the lid. Finally, add a coat of mascara!
