The March Edit: Wellbeing For The Month Ahead

From International Women’s Day to the first day of spring, March brings with it a whole host of delights. So with this in mind, we’re going to take on the month ahead in full force and start prepping ourselves for the balmy months ahead.

Though technically not ‘wellbeing’, the arrival of a new season means it’s time for a spring clean. We’re not talking feather dusters and rubber gloves, but sorting through your beauty stash and having a serious culling session. It’s time to throw out anything that’s past its use by date, switch out the heavy moisturisers for lighter formulas and replace your winter makeup hues with some pretty spring shades.

And as spring calls for a bit of a refresh, we’re rethinking the way we wash our locks because it turns out, many of us don’t wash our hair correctly! You see, it’s not as simple as lather, rinse, repeat – find out how to revolutionise your haircare routine.

The rising trend for boxing also has our ears pricked, so we’re making it our mission to add a session or two to our weekly workout routine. Though once viewed as quite a stereotypically male sport, the likes of Gigi Hadid and Millie Mackintosh have turned it on its head and are shouting about the many pros it comes equipped with – toning and stress-relieving to name but two. It requires you to use muscles that are often overlooked in other workouts and is amazing for burning fat, as well as strengthening upper and lower muscles. We’re sold.

What’s more, if you’re on a health kick and get a midweek craving for a gourmet burger with non of the guilt, or a pizza which has a healthy twist then a new app called Feast Kitchen will be your knight in shining armour.
