4At first the smell is a little strange like many years ago when I was at school and you'd get a new exercise book it smells like that but the smells disappears pretty fast! The serum goes on very smoothly and feels really nice. Helped my foundation stay matte for most of the day have been using daily since I got it I love it!

1Used it once then binned it couldn't tolerate the string fish smell that came from it absolutely awful I'm afraid

Fig and Rouge Primer
4Packaging is great, looks good on my beauty shelf. The product itself has great natural ingredients in it, which is always an advantage for me. The smell most of you describe fishy comes from them not using harsh synthetic perfumes, I'd rather smell a bit fishy than have irritated red skin. The key to use this primer is that you need a pea sized amount dotted all around your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, and then your foundation DABBED onto your skin, never use a brush or fingers or stroke movements because then it will curdle and form little worms, due to it's natural formula. The result you get is a mild soft focus effect, you will still see skin and pores but definitely more matte and blurred.

Not my favourite
1This product felt amazing at first but after applying my makeup it flaked and balled up.  My skin looked dry and chapped.  Mustn’t have the right skin type for this product.Â
