Not great
2I didn’t like this product. It is like a pink/purple coloured pearlescent liquid highlighter mixed with a setting spray. It leaves strange strange iridescent spots on the face when you spray it and highlights parts of the face I normally wouldn’t. I also find that it exaggerates pores. From an “illuminating” setting spray I would typically want it to be hydrating, but this doesn’t feel like it adds any moisture at all, just pearlescence.

4Really lovely product once it is on it lasts all day and is very light weight only downside is I have to spray on back of my hand and use a beauty blending brush to extract onto my face to get an even coverage if I have sprayed directly to face it leaves streaks but for the price a small disadvantage otherwise tops product

4So here goes. The only real issue I had was the spray on the bottle, whenever I sprayed on my face it wouldn’t come out as a mist I would have big dots of the product all over my face. It wasn’t a bit problem as I just dabbed the product out. I’m not sure if that is just mine or if it is just the packaging and other people have had the same issue! Now that’s just a packaging issue, the product itself however is lovely, gives a really nice glow and I can imagine when I’m on a night out next I will be bathing in the stuff. Not a bad price and will most probably purchase the full size bottle when I finish this one as it’s fab value! Xoxo

1The spray nozzle on this is not fine enough, it settles on your skin in massive white blobs. You then have to dab it with a tissue and then it looks like you have glitter bombed your face.

3I have been using the essence setting spray for several weeks now. It has successfully kept my make-up looking fresh and increasing the lasting power of my base. However, this particular spray is not for me. Often when using, the glow/illuminating part comes out in white spots on my face. I have tried adjusting the nozzle, spraying further away and shaking/not shaking the bottle first. I have seen other reviews with this same issue so I don't feel like I've just got a faulty bottle.

4It was a good product but I did feel as though it didn’t do much to my face it just sort of left clumps of shimmer on my face it didn’t look that nice on face

4Although I usually prefer a matte finish, this worked really well and didn't leave that alcohol-y smell on my skin.
