According to the colour whizzes at Pantone, one of the key hues for us to wear this spring - alongside the colours of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity - is Peach Echo. peach echo

A tempered member of the orange family, this pretty shade encapsulates all we adore about this time of year. It's warming and playful, while being utterly accessible and easy to wear - whether you choose to paint it on your face via your spring makeup palette or opt to add it to your new season wardrobe.

Here are six ways to wear one of our favourite hues in this season's colour palette...

Get lippy This all-encompassing shade works a treat when slicked on your lips. A glossy peach pout is literally health-inducing and makes for a sprightly alternative to red. Press a peach coloured lipstick into your lips this spring and you can't go wrong - we're particular fans of Burberry Full Kisses Lip Colour in Rose Apricot, £24, as it's pretty much an exact colour match!

Peach Echo, nailedProviding the perfect shade to paint on your talons pre-holiday (or just in general, as the sun starts to show its face), Essie's Nail Polish in Peach Side Babe, £7.99, is the perfect coral for spring.

We're blushing A sunset-hued glow is utterly flattering. It brightens your complexion and adds a little extra life to your makeup. Apply it to your cheekbones and it'll also work its magic to add a little contour to your face, too. We love Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop, £17, as it imparts a healthy glow and a spring-like pop of colour to your cheeks.

Bag itWe're big fans of this summery leather satchel by The Leather Satchel Company, £38. It's a simple way to add a dash of Peach Echo to your spring/summer attire.

Add peach to your wardrobeThe humble jumpsuit is back again to grace our wardrobes this spring and there's no better way to pull it off then opting for this coral beauty from ASOS, £38. It's super comfy while still being breezy in the hot temps. Making for the perfect travel outfit if you're off on your holidays sometime soon, it also works a treat to slip into come the weekend if you're 'staycation-ing' this year.

Put your best foot forwardSpring has arrived which means out with the winter boots and on with the pretty summer sandals. These lace up shoes from Aldo, £45, may leave you with a slightly odd tan if you sit in the sun too long, but they're super pretty don't you think?
